Auntie Larae's childhood dreams

My mother has a sister named Helen Larae Free Kerr. She's a really smart lady. She and my mom found some of her old paper dolls from 1952. These dolls are ballerinas so my mother thought I might like to see them. My aunt scanned them in and sent them to me. I want to eventually print them off and give them as gifts or something, unless that's illegal. I guess I might actually forget to do that, but hopefully I wont. They are so beautiful, even though the colors are probably a little faded or warped, I love them the way they are. Here are a few of the dolls.

day 1 of our third year

Today is the first day of our third year of marriange or marriage. Jeremy and I googled marriange yesterday and it is surprising how many people misspell the word, it's quite funny.

We decided that one of our family traditions should be to take an anniversary picture on our anniversary every year.
Anniversary #1:

Anniversary #2 (it is also at the top of the page):

This week I'm going to try to focus most of my time on finishing my incomplete so I can get my diploma and on gathering info about my accident last year.
Jeremy, my sister Rachel, me, and probably some other friends were thinking it'd be cool to celebrate my being alive on the anniversary of being hit by the high Justin Hicken's truck, which will be on the 25th this month. I don't really know what I'll do, but maybe we'll do something fun. If you have any ideas you can post them for me. I don't want it to be an angry party but a fun one. I also don't want it to detract from my brother Zack's wedding to this cute person:

Her name is Annie.

JULY and Gab and making things and video and cool

July: So I haven't posted anything this month, not that anyone reads this, but I have had some fun times. This is the first year that nobody in my family did fireworks, except for pops and sparklers. Jeremy and I have had some burgers this month, but the best one in my opinion is the burger dog or burger log that Jake made on the 2nd of July. I've been able to take some pictures with our new Holga lenses and filters. I think they are awesome (not necessarily the pictures but the lenses) and fun to use. (see pictures below)

Gab: My awesome 15 year old nice Gabrielle was babysitting my neighbors' two cats, two horses, and giant dog for three weeks. It was really fun to have her so close that long! It was almost like the days when she lived at my mothers as a 4 year old and Gabi5, except now she is Gabi15. She even occasionally had one of her cute siblings that I love over for a couple nights. She showed me how to do my nails really cool, that reminds me, I should paint them again, I just picked the pretty old paint off. We did lots of things like make butterfly cupcakes, eat outside, make skirts and a dress, and play games. My other visiting nieces (Lili, Emily, and Savannah) also had a lot of fun with her. Now that she is back at her home, I really miss her. I wish she could just live with us.

Making things: Yes, I did make a dress (I'm wearing it in my 2nd anniversary picture in tomorrows post). It is cute but at the same time it makes me look either like a little kid, pioneer, or polygamist. I should probably cut my hair or something so that I don't look like those things. ---If anyone reads this please tell me what you think my hair should be like.--- Jeremy cut my feet out of the picture, what a silly. I also learned to crochet baby booties. They're cute and I want to crochet other things as well.

Video: Jeremy and I were in a video that a friend made as an entry to Neon Trees "Your Surrender video contest." It is kind of like Romeo and Juliet or West Side Story. Jeremy was part of the Asian gang and I was part of the Caucasian gang.

Cool: Something that is really cool for the second time is that Jeremy and my anniversary is tomorrow!!!! We were wanting to go camping after church but I don't think that will work because it is supposed to rain or something. I love summer rain but I wish we could go camping because we haven't ever done anything like that together.

Graduate BFA Dance-Ballet

I never posted anything else about my graduation. I still am not 100% finished with my Capstone 1 class but I will be soon. What I need to finish for that class is my portfolio with my CV, resume, letter of intent, letters of recommendation, videos and pictures of me dancing, and more. It really doesn't seem like it should be hard. My goal is to finish by the end of June. I hope that my publishing that helps me really get it done.
I went to convocation and commencement on April 29. Many of my family members were there including my inlaws. We had bean and cheese burritos and other tasty treats that are among my favorites. It was really nice to see how much they support me.

Fun camera things

I recently purchased some Holga lenses for our Canon T2i from Holga Direct.
Jeremy showed me these bokeh filters the other day and I want some. I think $25 is pretty good for getting an already made holster and container for the variety of 21 pre-cut filters. We can be handy and make some of our own. (the picture of butterfly bokehs came from the previous link)
We have been wanting a new camera bag, and are hoping to make one of our own. It will probably be hard because I want it to be cute and perfectly functional.

Today things

Morning: Today, I want to do some things. Jeremy is at work and mom is out doing stuff so it's just me and Phoebe the beast at home today. We're buddies. Right now I am listening to Mew on grooveshark. I really like this song.
Anyway, I want to make meringue cookies or meringue shells to eat with raspberries. I want to do my laundry and finish it all today. I want to work on my last class for at least an hour. I want to take pictures. I want to put elastic in the waistband of an old petticoat for my ballet student.
Evening: I did a lot of things. I made meringues and ate raspberries with them, I'm still doing laundry, I took a picture of my food, I made Thai pasta with my mother, and now I'm listening to this. I might even go to X Men: First Class. I guess I'll have to do my homework and fix that petticoat tomorrow.
