Old Announcement

I was just looking at stuff on our old computer and this is what I found. Also, it was two years ago from yesterday (February 27, 2009, 9:05pm) that Jeremy proposed to me. I would tell the story again, but I think I already posted it back in the year 2009 when I created this blog. I think it might be in the first post if not one of the first posts.

Anyway, I really liked our wedding announcement. Isn't it pretty? We designed it ourselves, but we didn't make them like some of our crafty friends do with cool printing presses and things.

I wrote a Haiku and made a silly picture about how Jeremy and I feel when we see cute puppies. It goes like this:

the Angel Murkurker

Jeremy and some of his friends have recently created a youtube channel. They call themselves the Angel Murkurker. I know, it is a silly name for sure.

Anyway, Jeremy and his two friends who created this channel have all graduated and have their BAs in media arts. They are all silly people. They take turns writing and directing. Jeremy directed the video they posted today.
Please watch it! But DON'T LET YOUR KIDS WATCH IT UNLESS YOU'VE ALREADY SEEN IT AND APPROVE OF THEM WATCHING IT.
I would put it in a Horror/Comedy category. I wouldn't think it is appropriate for anyone younger than 14. But use your own judgment.

grandaunt and granduncle to Julianosaurus Rex

Jeremy says that grandaunt isn't a real word but it is. I looked it up.

I'd rather be a grandaunt than a great aunt.

Hillary has born a babe named Julian Rex Dastrup. He was born on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 2:58 and was 6lbs 13oz and 20 inches long. We went to visit the Dastrups a few hours after he arrived. MAFS (my mother MaryAnn Free Smith) was driving and she got so excited and distracted that we got pulled over for speeding! She had only ever had 2 tickets before in her life. Oh well, I guess it can be a good story.

When we got to the hospital, the little Julianosaurus Rex had just made his first little poop. So cute. Jeremy and I both got to hold him and he is the cutest little munchkin ever! I don't think Jeremy had ever held a newborn until then, it fun to see him gingerly holding the little man. The baby is so little and he likes to be in a ball and in the dark like when he was in his little cave womb. He's a little furry and very calm. His eyebrows are white-blond and some people think he might be blond, we'll see. He looks so much like Scott.

I just want to hold Julianosaurus and kiss him over and over!

Man pleads guilty

My aunt just sent me this newspaper clipping about the man, Justin Hicken, that hit me with his car. A lot of people have expressed to me the anger they have towards Justin Hicken.

Because he is only getting 3rd degree felonies, I hope I can somehow let him know how this affected me both physically and mentally. I hope he never uses drugs or alcohol again.

the Social Network

Facebook isn't working. It reminds me of the Social Network. It started not working at 10:15, just a few minutes ago. Strange. I wonder if it isn't working for everyone else.

Guess what... I am graduating in April.
