Dreams

I've been trying to write down the weird dreams that I have lately. I was reading through some old ones and I found this treasure, from March 21, 2013, in my phone notes:

(3/21) The Jimps this is watching TV show about these three kids so I'm going to round-trip. Dalensou thing. There to Blazingwood go. The main character was deployed from sorcery boom sorcerers apprentice. And then went surfing. Searchers apprentice is booked going to like really dangerous place. When he moved over to someplace that you just hold onto and then the waves crashed in the big wave" get them. Thank you manager and can. Mom pitchstone going to this new movie. No scratch that Phillipsville dinner with old man. The main character was called the doctor because he could read his friends moons. I had a dream that dad is with us and we're moving on up Alpenhaus. And then there was a lawyer friend who had a theater in this house. Going to go to movie. With the tablet just depressants him it's probably not a good idea. We just went to his lawyer friends house and watched a movie instead. For some reason there is little girl who's really dirty and to see know how to take care of yourself. I don't know if were babysitting her life we found her. We are kind of watching her while we are moving

I must have been only partially awake when I wrote this and it must have been dictated to Siri. It sounds like something Charlie Day would write as Charlie in "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia." If you know what this dream means, let me know.

MAFS' Move

My mother, MAFS, is moving. She is leaving the home I grew up in. She has given so much stuff away. I'm really proud of her because that is so hard. I have some old family pictures that I've scanned and the majority of them are too cute. However, I think our scanner has a problem. It used to not do this, but it leaves little lines in the dark areas, especially if the original picture has a glossy finish. I don't know enough about printers and scanners to fix it. I probably have to clean the scanner head or whatever its called. BORING.

cute MAFS and HLFK - probably spring or summer 1947
MAF[S] with her parents Lorymore and Myrtle Joy Free and their dog, Dicty Oclastus Americanus Productacea Spiriferida Bracheopoda. The pup was named after a fossil. - probably 1967 or something.

Music and Bikes and Dramas

There are some songs that I'm loving right now. They make me feel good.
  1. Hot Chip's new album is coming out soon. The whole album can be streamed right here. My favorite track is "Now There is Nothing." I just love it for some reason, especially the intro.
  2. College and Electric Youth's song "A Real Hero" has been one of my favorites for the better part of a year now.
  3. Pnau's "The Truth" is great too.
  4. M83's "Raconte-Moi Une Histoire" makes me want to be a mom and listen to my kids tell me stories.
  5. M83's "Kim and Jesse" always makes me happy, too bad they didn't play it at their concert.
  6. Kaela Kimura's "Ring a Ding Dong" is something that Jeremy and I have both like lately. I think it's super fun and catchy. Also, the music video has great choreography, colors, set, costumes and is just one continuous shot. This is just a small part of the video. I can't find the whole one anymore.

Also I've gotten into Korean dramas on Hulu. Silly me. I've watched all of "Oh My Lady," "My Lovely Sam Soon," "King 2 Hearts," "Love Rain," "Rooftop Prince," and "Heart Strings." It was fun but it took up too much of my time.
I ordered my bike! I really just waited too long, I could have had it a month ago. I am so excited that it is real. It doesn't come till next Tuesday probably and it has to be assembled before I ride it. But I'm so excited. I will ride it everywhere and soak some vitamin D into my neon white body. That means we need to get Jeremy's gears and brakes fixed so he can ride with me. And we need helmets. We've decided it's not worth the risk. YIPPEE!

I'm back and so is Summer

I haven't blogged for so long!

Today marks 4 years since our first date and 4 of having fun being together! Or as Jeremy said, "Catey and I have been an interracial couple for 4 years." It's pretty cool. We've been through thick and thin and been happy and sad together. We're living the dream! Boy oh boy, we sure do love each other.
This is the oldest picture I could find of us together on Facebook. I think it's cute because Jeremy is dancing like Snoopy.

Anyway, I keep having weird dreams. Last night's dream involved riding little trains up and down the Wasatch Front that was paid for with coins and pita chips (awesome, and we found a silver Mercury Penny too!), running away from bad guys in a greasy Dickensian neighborhood with a cool theater, visiting an old apartment (from my niece's childhood...weird), weeding my neighbor's garden, and an antiquated digital camera that had a little digital film cartridge instead of an SD card. The camera was pretty cool actually. It was more like a Polaroid camera because there was a little machine you put the cartridge into and it would print the high quality pictures instantly. This was a great dream because it was pretty much just Jeremy and I on cool adventures. Though, either James Alexander, Jordan Michael Blake, or Cody Rigby tagged along. I can't remember who it was because they weren't really involved, they just followed us around. I only remember the friend being blond and silly.

Lately, Jeremy has been super busy working full time and rehearsing for BYUTV's Common Room with Divine Comedy a long with a few other projects. Common Room has been filmed once already, and they are filming again on this Saturday. Also, I drew a picture and I painted a little, but it looks weird. If it was on purpose, that would be cool, but it's not.

Jeremy has a new website: jeremywarnerclassic.com. You should check it out.

My mother is moving from her home that she's lived in since I was 3 months old. I am so sad! I am generally a sentimental person and almost all of my childhood memories involve that house or the neighborhood. Every time I drive there to help her move, I feel sad inside because I have little flashbacks all the way there. Why must I get so attached to places and stuff? It makes my life so much harder.

I haven't really done anything outside since it has been hot. I wish Jeremy and I had gotten the "Pass of All Passes!" when it was $10. I think I would play outside if we did. I hope to still find a deal, we'll see how that works out. I have good news ... I'm getting a new bike! I always wanted to fix my grandparent's matching green Schwinn Suburbans, but they're so heavy and my grandpa's is a little too big for Jeremy. I finally gave in and let my brother and his wife have them. I'm getting one of these. I originally wanted it in red, but I missed my chance. I like the other colors too anyway. I really love the shape and that it is an 8 speed.

Hopefully I'll blog more regularly from now on. Bye!

Poor bird

I didn't blog even once in January, too bad. Nothing I can do about it.

Yesterday morning was sad for me, but the rest of the day ended up being enjoyable. I have a great husband, mom, siblings, and friends who are so encouraging to me. I am really blessed for that.

I want to do more with my hands and my eyes. I started a quilt this week and I am so excited about it. I completed my very first quilt block on my own, with my mother's coaching and a good quilt book.

There was a sad dead bird on the steps to our front door. I took a picture of it using our new Lensbaby tilt shift lens.

Holiday

The following is our Christmas tree (minus our two new ornaments that we chose,) for 2011. It was cute, that's all.

This year we got ourselves a yudu for our family Christmas present. Neither of us can wait to use it, but we need to know what we're going to make before we do it.

Jeremy and I gave one another a book that was wanted for a long time. I love mine. Everyone who really knows me knows that I love sugar too much. Doesn't the cover just make you want it too?

My eyes were watery with joy when I started reading the first few pages and some of the recipes it holds. I can't wait to make treats with this book. My dentist brother would probably love it too.

Yvonne

Jeremy made a music video for a little friend named Damien Fairchild. It's very beautiful. I'm happy to be married to such a creative and talented guy.
